Charmyn Leonore Arnolds
My vision started in 2020 to give something to the needy. I am a domestic worker and worked at several places in town. My dreams have always been to mean something to my fellow human beings and to make a difference in someone’s life. This is my heartbeat. I come from a home where there was nothing. I had a lot of hardship, walked to school many times without shoes. I know what it is to not have anything to eat and to sit at other people’s houses for bread. I know many people don’t have, and they don’t even talk about it.

Tulbagh’s need is so great and I wish I could do more, but just to see the smiles on their faces makes me happy. If I could just give them one fruit or some canned fruit, or any available food that comes our way, warms my heart.
To see that gratitude in their faces makes my day.

By engaging with people from all walks of life – whether homeless, hungry, or struggling with hopelessness – Charlotta finds purpose in spreading hope and positivity.

Danette van Staden
As a person, I see a lot of how our children and the elderly are struggling. I have been helping my mother for many years in the community and I see where the need is. My love for my community comes straight from my heart and what I learned from my mother. I like to work with the police and welfare to make a difference in our children’s lives.
I am a people person and will go out of my way to help others.
My passion in life is to help others where I see there is no help or only a little is available. I want to be part of the Food4Good group, so that I can do more with the knowledge I get here.
My dream is to really see a turnaround in our community. I want to help people and especially those children who are in homes where tik and drugs destroy everything.
I will give my last to make a difference.
